Wishlist

Did you know that we have TWO options for making a wish list?? First off is the old school version. Come into the shop and ask for a wish list card. Fill it out with your first and last name...then write down ALLLLLLL the things your heart desires (don't worry, you have the back of the card too...write tiny!!) Then send in your loved ones! Have them ask for your card and we will help them find the items! You are welcome to write GIFT CARD on there too!!

The second version is a little more techie. I have the process shown below...it's the mobile version, but the computer version will work the same, just that the screens will look a little different.

First step, go to www.alittleknitty.com and click on the menu. At the bottom it says, LOGIN. Click that!

Log in to your account. If you have never logged in before, click "Create Account" and set it up!

When you are logged in, it will bring you to this screen. Click "Gift Registry"

Fill out all the info!

Go look at all the inventory. On each item you want, there will be an "Add to Gift Registry" box below the "Add to Cart" Add ALL the items you want!!

In the menu if you go back to your account info, you will be able to look at your registry list. If you scroll to the right, there will be a link for you to send to your loved ones!!!

Unfortunately, we are unable to access your registry in our system...so if you want to send a loved one INTO the store, we highly recommend the old-fashioned paper in the store version we mentioned first!

We also enjoy the family members that are sent to the shop with a note pinned to their shirt asking for something in particular!! If you send your loved one to the shop and tell them "just go in, they know what I like" you will most likely end up with a Gift Card! We love each and every one of our customers, but we have grown so much that it is actually impossible to remember what every single one of you mentioned in passing to that one employee on a random day in June!

Alright...go get wishin!!!

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do! You can download the pattern for free here (please give it a favorite over on Ravelry so that it gets a little Ravelry love!!!):  Ravelry: Karen Chemo Cap pattern by A Little Knitty Designs You can purchase the yarn we used here:  Cumulus by Juniper Moon Farm (alittleknitty.com) Here is the video if you need help with the fan stitch!

Chemo Caps - Part 2

The Gia Chemo Cap doesn't have the same sort of story behind it as the Karen Cap , but it was developed with Chemo patients in mind! Please share this pattern with anyone who would like to knit a hat for someone in need! You can download your pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gia-chemo-cap
