We are so thrilled to announce that we are now carrying Sweet Georgia Yarns & Fibers!!! To kick off the introduction - I would like to introduce the fibers. We ordered the Spinning Samplers so that you can test drive their different bases and we are always happy to special order in any base and colorway that you need...just let us know!! When I was at H&H this last June, I walked by the Sweet Georgia Yarns booth and their new colors for fall called to my SOUL!!!!! You can tell I had a LOT of fun at H&H huh??? These moody, dark colors would be amazing in socks, shawls or sweaters. This yarn will also play very nicely with our fingering weight mini sets from Rainier Roses or many of our locally dyed fingering weight yarns!! It's almost September and football season is already upon us. Truth be told I’m much more of a baseball fan than a football fan, but I recently knit a newborn football hat for a friend and wanted to share the pattern.  Maybe you have seen it in the shop on display. It is “ The Newborn Wilson Hat ” and knits up looking like a football.  I used Uptown Worsted in the perfect chocolate brown and Cotton Supreme white for the laces and stripe. It was a quick knit and my friend loved it! What a perfect baby gift for your football loving friends.  For those of you who like to crochet there is a crochet pattern for this as well called “ It’s Football Season Beanie” . Sorry it has taken me much longer than anticipated in positing pics. There were a few nights on board that I just didn't sleep well, so when I got home I figured the reason I was begging for a nap was due to my lack of sleep. Little did I know, some sort of sickness (not covid) had attacked my body and would not let me go!!!  Today (Monday) I'm finally able to function a little bit...at least enough to share some photos.  The cruise with Great Yarns was PHENOMENAL to say the least. It was so fun to hang out with friends, learn new tips and tricks, and we were absolutely spoiled rotten. I don't think ive ever received so many surprises...plus all the pampering by the staff of Celebrity Cruiselines....I was seriously feeling special!! Ok...on with some photos!
