Bella Pompom

Have you noticed this funny looking yarn and wondered how it worked up? It is meant to be held double with Bella Chenille yarn to add some excitement to your project! This chicken would be a boring little white chicken without Bella Pom Pom adding a little excitement! You know you have been searching for a funfetti emotional support chicken!!! For this jelly fish I made some of the legs with the pompom and some without! Now you are going to look at all your projects and wonder if you could add sprinkles!!! You can find this yarn in-store or online HERE

Wishlist

Did you know that we have TWO options for making a wish list?? First off is the old school version. Come into the shop and ask for a wish list card. Fill it out with your first and last name...then write down ALLLLLLL the things your heart desires (don't worry, you have the back of the card too...write tiny!!) Then send in your loved ones! Have them ask for your card and we will help them find the items! You are welcome to write GIFT CARD on there too!! The second version is a little more techie. I have the process shown below...it's the mobile version, but the computer version will work the same, just that the screens will look a little different. First step, go to www.alittleknitty.com and click on the menu. At the bottom it says, LOGIN. Click that! Log in to your account. If you have never logged in before, click "Create Account" and set it up! When you are logged in, it will bring you to this screen. Click "Gift Registry" Fill out all the info! Go look a

Kris' Corner - Stocking Stuffers

December is just a few days away and A Little Knitty has so many cute notions that I thought I would highlight some of my personal favorites as we enter the Christmas shopping season.. These are perfect stocking stuffers but would be great little gifts for that fiber loving co-worker, friend or loved one.   First off some of our newer products: Point Protectors- Simply adorable pandas, pineapples, sloths, unicorns and even pigs. So great to protect your WIP from slipping off your needles in your project bag. $10/set Eucalan Delicate Wash Gift Pack - This set includes some great scents like, grapefruit, eucalyptus, lavendar and even unscented. We all need this to soak our finished projects before blocking. $32/set Super Snips - These are mini scissors that come in fun neon colors that make them stand out when you are digging through the black hole in your notions bag. My favorite feature is the cover that not only stays on the blades but also is attached so you can't lose it.

These gift cards can be used as cash for classes, merchandise, last chance and special orders!!! Give one, keep one, you decide!!!! You can purchase this deal in-store or online HERE

Hilde's Corner - Tree Topper

We had so much fun decorating the tree for The Festival of Trees at White River Valley Museum. All the ornaments that the community made for our tree was nothing short of amazing! I hope you all get a chance to go out to White River Valley Museum to not only see all the decorated trees but to take a moment and look at the wonderful exhibits at the museum. I did not know about this museum and was pleasantly surprised. I plan to go back with my hubby and really take a look around. The little gift shop was cute, too! Many of you may have seen the tree topper I made for the tree. I wanted to share how I made Knitting Sheep Angel (I think Jen may have named her Goldy). I used two patterns, one for the body and one for the head. I found a really cute angel topper that was perfect. I looked around for a sheep stuffed animal that called for the same weight yarn and luckily I found one! All I had to do was knit the sheep head and use it in place of the angel head. The angel’s wings were perfect

Kris & Hilde

At our retreat we got to talking about how many people get Kris & Hilde mixed up. It's true, they are about the same height, light hair, glasses, amazingly friendly and helpful...it can be easy to morph them into one person in your head...but we came up with many things that make them different too!! We thought we would share them with all of you!!! Phone Hilde is team Android while Kris is team Apple Spice or No Spice? Kris LOVES Flamin' Hot Cheetos while Hilde is not a fan of spice Cats or Dogs? I love our team!!

This week I did a lot of reflecting on the last 7.5 years...and how much my life has changed. When I decided to open a yarn shop, I don't think I ever thought it would grow to what it is today. I never made a plan for hiring anyone because I just figured I could do it myself (I'm positive my first words as a child must have been "I do it myself!!!") I am a serial entrepreneur who has a passion for yarn, watching Shark Tank and being a little weird. I wanted to build something from nothing and put my own spin on what a yarn shop could be. Although I constantly dreamed of the entrepreneur life, I always held jobs where I was the assistant, the right hand, the behind the scenes support...and not to toot my own horn, but I was pretty good at it. I could sense what my boss needed and have it ready before he even knew he needed it. I didn't dream of being a boss, didn't seek out to be a boss and honestly didn't really know how to be a boss (and as I type boss ov
