Frog it or finish it

Last week when I was drawing winners for our Facebook Group Craft-a-long (if you don't know what I'm talking about...you should totally join our group) I was so inspired by Susan who is challenging herself to a game of "Frog it or Finish it!"

Basically, she is bravely peeking into project bags and deciding to "Frog it" (ribbit out) or "Finish it" (just knit the darn thing already!). She has been so successful in finishing so many things...it does have me pondering how many things she has ripped out!!!

Have you ever challenged yourself to something like this???

We are hosting a FROG IT OR FINISH IT Challenge over on our FB Group...check it out!

I'm challenging everyone to grab an unfinished object and decide to FROG IT OR FINISH IT!!!!!! All you have to do to enter is post a photo of it in the unfinished state...then below that photo post a photo when it is either FROGGED or FINISHED!!!!! You are welcome to add the photo of the unfinished object NOW, and follow up with the frogged or finished photo by September 29th (it works great for accountability) if you don't come back and post the frog or finish...it just doesn't get entered to win! Also feel free to comment on people's photos and cheer them on!!!!

Everyone will be entered to win prizes that will be drawn on Friday, September 29th and available for pick up starting Saturday, September 30th!

EDITED TO ADD: if you don't know what frogging is...it's when you rip it out...but when you say "rip it out" it kinda sounds like "Ribbit" so...it became known as frogging!

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do! You can download the pattern for free here (please give it a favorite over on Ravelry so that it gets a little Ravelry love!!!):  Ravelry: Karen Chemo Cap pattern by A Little Knitty Designs You can purchase the yarn we used here:  Cumulus by Juniper Moon Farm (alittleknitty.com) Here is the video if you need help with the fan stitch!

Chemo Caps - Part 2

The Gia Chemo Cap doesn't have the same sort of story behind it as the Karen Cap , but it was developed with Chemo patients in mind! Please share this pattern with anyone who would like to knit a hat for someone in need! You can download your pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gia-chemo-cap
