Pro Tip: Buttons

When determining where to sew on a button, I place the button hole edge over the top of the button band


Then I take a locking stitch marker and put it through the button hole and attach it to the fabric of the button band. 


I repeat this process for every button hole, then lift the edge that has the button holes. 


Now I just have to sew on the buttons at each of the marked spots and I get perfectly placed buttons every time!!
