Our Noro order is slowly trickling in and we received in a couple colorways of Tsubame Tsubame is a single-ply blend of silk, wool, and polyamide from Noro that features their signature long-run color changes. Tollow Cowl - Beginning Brioche Stitch Cost: $ 52.00 Sat, Feb 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Materials Included: Pattern & instruction time. Materials Needed: 2 100g skeins of DK weight high-contrast yarn (we recommend locally dyed or Drifter Subtle - we used Jadawoo for the colorful sample and Drifter Subtle for the black/grey sample) and US6-16” & US4-16” circular knitting needles. Pre-req: Must know how to cast on, bind off, knit & purl. No brioche experience necessary. Must complete before class: With US6-16”, provisionally cast on 120 stitches. We have carried Cozy Alpaca Chunky for awhile, but we just added the worsted weight version to the mix.  I absolutely fell in LOVE with the sweater below and saw someone knit it with this yarn and I knew it had to come to the shop! I totally ended up stealing this hat...it was just too cute!! I haven't blocked it yet...but I did add a couple inches to the pattern (it said to knit until 6" from the cast on...I think 8-10" is a little better). Oh...and this stitch soaks up a LOT of yarn...so be prepared to use up almost 100g of Rios.
