I just finished the Oscar sweater I found on Ravelry. This pint-sized "Grandpa" sweater was super fun to knit, and very quick!! I knit it using a very sophisticated tweed yarn with 3 dark wood buttons! If you want to knit this up you can find the yarn HERE . If you order online and want me to add the buttons, just put a note at checkout. If you come into the shop to get your yarn, just mention buttons as we ring you up!! The top of this hat is MESMERIZING!!!!!  This is the Twistmas by Espace Tricot We knit up this shop sample with a new yarn in the shop called Noelle . It's fluffy and sparkly...two things that make for a VERY fun hat!! I should have gone up a needle size, this hat fits me and the fake head...but it could be a slight bit bigger and I was just under on my gauge. I only needed one ball for this hat, but if your gauge was larger than indicated on the pattern, you may need 2 balls (these are 50g balls, not 100g!) We only have one color in stock right now, but the rest of the colors should be arriving soon!! A little more information about the yarn.... Noelle blends luxurious baby alpaca and merino wool with polyester and nylon to create a shimmering, ethereal yarn perfect for cool weather. This yarn features a hollow core, making it exceptionally lightweight and lofty. Noelle has a soft haze, yet retains lovely stitch definition. Subtle color shifts give this yarn an additional element

Socks are a great warm weather knit project. If you are a fan of two-at-a-time socks, you will be set to rock and roll since these skeins are pre-wound into two identical 50gram balls! There is still room in our CC Beanie class this Saturday! It's a two part class. At the first class we will tackle the provisional cast on with a crochet hook and the second part we will learn brioche OR you have the choice to do ribbing if you aren't quite ready for brioche! These leather tags have been a big hit in the shop....especially around the holidays! It's a great way to complete your hand-knit hat, and let the receiptient know it was handmade, or made with love! These tags are removable, which is great if you want to put it on another handmade item or to remove the tag while you wash the hat!  We just added some new tags to the mix, we now have leather and vinyl tags that say Made with <3 August is a GREAT time to start kicking out the hats and stash them away for the cool winter months and holiday gift giving! If you have been waiting for our Uptown Worsted restock...it's kinda here!!! We were able to get about half the colors we have been expecting!! You can see all the in-stock colors HERE or stop into the shop and see them for yourself!!

Malabrigo just released new colors in Mechita & Sock that are all about Fairytales!! I'm kinda obsessed with Fiona & Myths (pictured below) on the sock base and Legend & Aurora (pictured above) on the single ply Mechita base.
