A Little Knitty

In years past, we did classes and events in the shop during the month of July to prepare for the Holiday Season! This year is a little different...but we still want to crank out those Holiday gifts now...so we can just reach into the finished projects bin in December and gift away!!! Each Monday at 7pm in July we will host a Zoom meeting ( click here to launch the meeting - it will only work if it is 7pm on a Monday!) to work on our projects together. One winner will be drawn each night for a $10 in shop gift certificate! You will receive 1 entry for every item you finish (face scrubbies are small, so 3 scrubbies will be 1 entry!) We just received a shipment of Malabrigo Mechita and it came with a FREE PATTERN!!! When you purchase your Mechita or Sock in shop or online, you will receive this pattern free (while supplies last)!  The Bryce Canyon cowl is a double wrap cowl knit in the round and uses one skein of light fingering Malabrigo yarn ( Sock or Mechita ), perfect for that funky, colorful yarn you have your eye on. The slipped stitch pattern shows off variegated and multi-color colorways as the slipped stitch contrasts against the background. This is a great pattern for a beginning knitter as it primarily requires only the slipping of stitches, in addition to the knit and purl stitches. Jen

Did you know we are participating in the slow yarn crawl again this summer? You even have the ability to crawl virtually!!! How does this Slow Yarn Crawl work? Well, this year it's a LITTLE different due to Covid-19. The crawl begins May 22nd and ends September 27th. You purchase a passport (either from your favorite LYS or the Yarn Crawl site) then make a purchase at each online shop (or in-person once that is possible. And you can choose as many or as few as you would like!). When you make your purchase, you will receive a stamp (we mail you a sticker) in your passport and 2 free patterns (1 knit, 1 crochet).
