Dish Cloths

Yes, it's true, I love dishcloths. I love them for a lot of reasons. I think they are the greatest first project because they are a small, usable project. Even if you mess it up and have holes everywhere, it will still do the dishes! :) I offer 3 variations in my learn to knit kit s, but I highly recommend going on to other dish cloth patterns in order to learn new stitches and feel more comfortable with certain techniques before you graduate to other projects like sweaters and blankets. Today, I stumbled upon this book and I think it's a great gift idea for a new knitter (or a gift for yourself...you deserve it!!) It seems like when a beginning knitter has a solid foundation of understanding stitches before they go on to larger tasks, they have more success! And dishcloths make really nice gifts!!
