Punch Needle Kits

Throughout quarantine this was the NUMBER ONE asked for kit!!!! PUNCH NEEDLE!!!! It's a fun way to play with yarn and you don't need to learn a new skill, just start coloring with yarn!!  I found these locally made kits and HOPE to set up some classes with the owner of Myra & Jean in the future!! Without further ado...here are the cute kits now available in-store and online ! The kit contains everything you need to start right after you open the box. - 8x8 inch frame with fabric (primitive linen) stretched on it (stretched on by Myra & Jean, frame by frame) - printed design you can apply to whichever side you prefer to punch on ( traditionally punch needle is applied from the back and loops form on the other side, but some people prefer the punched side to be the front. - high quality acrylic yarn carefully selected and weighted for each color - punch needle tool - written and video instructions provided via a link to PDF Made in Seattle, Washington For more instruction

Getting back to our new normal!

What a whirlwind 2 weeks it has been. I went from worrying we would get pushed back to phase 2, to finding out the state will reopen at the end of June and the CDC announced vaccinated people can go mask free!!!! WOW!!!! I'm still figuring some things out...but we have Private Lessons, Small Group Help Sessions and CLASSES all back in July (and a couple private lessons in June too!!!) Our employees haven't had the chance to be fully vaccinated yet, so we will be requiring face masks by ALL shoppers (vaccinated or not) until June 4th. After the 4th we will follow State guidelines as far as mask wearing and distancing is concerned. Vaccinated customers will not be required to wear a facemask, unvaccinated customers will be asked to continue to wear them while shopping, during social events and classes. We will not require vaccination to take a class. We will not be checking immunization records as we TRUST our customers will not lie and endanger others in our community. We unders

Knit-a-long with us on Zoom!

Join Susan every Wednesday in June as we knit the pattern 'One & Done' by Casapinka on ZOOM!!! This is the perfect pattern for a wild skein of fingering weight yarn!! Knit-a-long fee includes pattern, printing and one skein of malabrigo fingering weight yarn (if you would rather use a locally dyed yarn, you can upgrade for $8!) If you are registering online, please note at checkout what yarn you would like included in your kit. You can see malabrigo sock HERE or malabrigo mechita HERE Susan will be available for any questions you may have along the way, but this isn't a class where there will be lecture times....it's just a group of people getting together to knit the same thing. Everyone will be at their own speed, there is no required homework, knit as much or as little as you would like. Make-up sessions are not available and recordings will not be made, as this is more of a social event than an educational one. If you have any questions, please email info@alitt
