So, last night I thought I found a good option for a shopping cart through Etsy, but today I ran into a much better alternative which will make things MUCH easier for me and will host my own shopping cart. What this means...I will be making lots of changes over the next week or so, but will be great in the end! I will still keep my digital patterns on Etsy and Ravelry, but everything else will be hosted by ME!!! *and the crowd goes wild* With all these changes, I've been VERY busy at work on Ravelry actually updating it instead of THINKING about updating it. Sidenote: if someone could invent a way for me to complete things by just thinking about them...that would be fantastic! Check out Ravelry for new, fun patterns like these... Classes & Descriptions Knitting 101 - $25 We will learn the knit stitch during this workshop. You will receive knitting needles with the stitches already cast on and we will knit, knit, knit until you feel comfortable...then we will bind off! This is a very condensed version of my 4 week class. During this workshop we will make a coaster....or if you are really flying it might turn into a mug hugger! If you are interested in going on to the bow making class, I can also instruct you on the purl stitch that you will need for that workshop! Yes, we just barely started October and I'm talking about CHRISTMAS!!!! It does feel a little crazy, and next week when I'm surrounded by 550 booths all decked out for the holidays and constant Christmas music it will feel very real. The Tacoma Holiday Food & Gift Festival is in it's 34th year of being the first Holiday show of the year, and you can kick it off a little cheaper with this coupon! A few years ago someone mentioned a hat the looked like a football and the idea rattled around in my head for awhile...and the hat that came out of my head was this one... I really love working with Tweens and Teens. Theirs is a generation that needs to learn awesome hobbies like Knitting, Crochet, Sewing, Etc...or they will cease to exist! I also think they are so fun because they are like little crafting sponges AND obsessed with fashion. A perfect storm in my mind! I'm lucky enough to live in a neighborhood with the ultimate Tweens... Meet B & L They are WAY more up to date on fashion and trends than I am, they love fashion and both are adorable! I'm excited to design a few patterns designed for the trendy teens out there...and here is a little sneak peak. My hope is to not only design the patterns for them in mind...but make them simple knits so that they can knit them themselves!  Jen

CROCHET FLOWER MINI WORKSHOP - $25 Must have a working knowledge of crochet, including making a chain and double crochet. During this mini workshop we will create crochet flowers! These are fun to add to hats, headbands, earwarmers, the options are endless. The workshop includes a kit that will make 5 crochet flowers and personal instruction by the designer. You will need to bring a USG (4.5mm) crochet hook. If you would like to purchase one at the class, please mention it in a note at check out. They are $15 each, but must be ordered ahead of time to make sure we have stock available!
