Cerulean Orchid Class PLUS Grey Drizzle Fibers Trunk Show

On Saturday, February 11th we are going to have a super cool crochet class with the DESIGNER of the pattern!!! Plus we will have a trunk show with Grey Drizzle Fibers. If you are enrolled in the class, you will get early admission to the trunk show! The hat below was crochet using their yarn and it is fantastic!!  You can sign up for the class in-store or online HERE


Description

Learn how to make a cozy, texture rich, Shooting Stars Beanie using a combination of post stitches and puff stitches. You’ll learn how to crochet a hat from the top-down, and how to work in the round. We will practice on some scrap yarn and get started on the beanie in the class. 


Skill Level

  • Intermediate


What Participants Should Already Know

  • How to make the following stitches: CH, DC, SC in the BLO, and SLST.

  • How to weave in yarn ends.


What Participants Will Learn

  • How to make the following stitches: Post Stitches and Puff Stitches.

  • How to crochet a beanie working from top-down using a magic circle.

  • How to work in the round.



Provided Materials 

  • Printed copy of the Shooting Stars Beanie pattern 

  • Scrap Yarn


Required Materials

  • 292 yards (267 meters) of Sport weight

US Size F/5: 3.75 mm
or, if you tend to crochet tightly, a US Size G/6: 4.25 mm crochet hook

If you don't have sport yarn in your stash....no sweat! Our trunk show with Grey Drizzle was meant as an option for you to use for your hat. You are welcome to come 15 min early to class to get situated and when the trunk show starts you are welcome to grab your yarn (we can do payment later) and we can ball up on skein asap so you can get going!!!!
