Little flurries and big flakes drift over this Fair Isle set, made in easy-care Adore. The scarf is knit in the round, for a double layer of coziness. The hat is topped with a cute pompom.

Universal Yarn Adore (55% superwash merino wool, 45% antipilling acrylic; 100g/273 yds)
• 129 Sand – 3 skeins

Needle: US size 5 (3.75 mm) 16” circular set of DPNS or size needed to obtain gauge
US size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” circular or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

PATTERN NOTES
Both hat and scarf are knit in the round from the bottom up. The snowflake colorwork is worked on both the front and backs of the pieces. The ends of the scarf ‘tube’ are seamed once completed, and fringe is added after seaming. A pompom is added to the top of the hat once completed.

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do!
