Amanecer - Knitting Pattern Found on Ravelry

Highly variegated yarns need a pattern that will just let them be the wild and crazy yarns they were meant to be!

This fun pattern called Amanecer is available on Ravelry (It's listed for $12 but she has a stair step payment model that allows you to get it for $6 or $9...pay what you like!)

This is a top-down winged triangular shawl, and a one-skein wonder, so you will work it out pretty fast! The first and last 2 sts create a garter stitch edge, set off by YOs at each end. The lace motifs are placed symmetrically around an elongated central knit stitch, which is emphasized by paired increases. YO increases are placed at each end on both wrong and right sides, after the garter stitch edging.

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do!
