Summer is here and school is out and lots of us are thinking about taking a road trip. So what to knit or crochet on the adventure ahead? We don’t want something too big because of space and we don’t want something hot on our laps. We also don’t want something so involved and complicated that we can’t quickly set it aside for an activity or pitstop. Here are a few project ideas using two of my favorite yarns at A Little Knitty: Ricorumi and Ciao . First is Ricorumi cotton yarn that come in a variety of colors, some are even sparkled . They are ideal for the road since they are small and very packable. This yarn would be perfect to make “Amigurumi Tik Tok Bee” by Crafting Happiness . These smiling bees are so so cute and you can crochet them in different sizes and make a bee family! The pattern is available for about $3.42 on Ravelry. Oregon Flock and Fiber is a weekend filled with  classes, demonstrations, livestock shows, and an expansive marketplace  with a wide array of fiber goods and accessories. Admi ssio n is FREE!
