| Details: | This is your deployment notice for Operation Fiber Arts! All Veterans, spouses and dependents are invited to join us at A Little Knitty on October 19th 2024 from 5pm to 7pm! It's time to muster all our battle rattle for a tactical mission of stitches and strategy! All while supporting Nineline Veteran Services! We'll be engaging in some serious fiber maneuvers, sharing intel on patterns, and fortifying our stash. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newbie recruit, all hands on deck are welcome! Prepare for camaraderie, creativity, and maybe even a few surprise challenges! Stay sharp, keep those yarns untangled, and we'll see you at the front lines of fun! Over and out! While this is an event for our Veterans and their families, all are invited to shop on the 19th and 10% of the total merchandise sales for the day (in-person and online!!) will be donated to benefit Nineline Veteran Services!! |
I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do!
