Spun in Italy, Cassatt is a light and lofty blend of baby alpaca, wool, nylon, and viscose. It is constructed with a hollow core and fine fibers blown through for an ethereal halo. The colors are inspired by impressionist paintings. Beautiful speckles and tweedy nubs make this yarn all the more magical.
First, I knit up a little cowl to get a feel for the yarn. I found It's That Fast on Ravelry and knit a smaller version of her design. This yarn is so lofty and soft that I just knew I had to find a sweater pattern to use with this yarn!
So on my to-do list this winter is the Turtle Dove II
Not sure what color I'll use....all of them are speaking to me! :)
Here are all the details about the yarn....
