Terms & Conditions for Classes - Update

We had to update a few of our terms & conditions for classes, please read over them!

- Classes & Private Lessons reservations must be made 24 hours before the class/lesson. This allows our teachers to prepare for the necessary number of students, or in the case of private lessons, if there are no private lessons 24 hours before the lesson time, the teacher won't need to come into the shop. There is no same-day or drop-in availability for classes or lessons.

- Payment is required to secure your place in the class.

- If you must cancel, and do so at least 48 hours in advance, your fees may be applied to a future class/private lesson.

- Cancellations fewer than 48 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund. PLEASE call if you cannot come, this allows us to fill your spot with someone else who has been waiting for the class/private lesson.

- By signing up for a class, you are agreeing to the terms & conditions listed above.

- For all classes that begin at the same time the shop opens (i.e. 10am class) the shop will open 30 minutes before the start of class time for you to get any materials you might need! (this has always been our policy, but was not written out)

- For classes requiring material, we kindly ask that you purchase materials at A Little Knitty, recognizing that you may already have suitable needles and notions.

- If there is something you are interested in learning, please let us know! You can call us at 206.659.5987 or email us at hello@alittleknitty.com

- We are having difficulties getting emails to those who take classes. If you sign up for a class or make a purchase online and DON'T get an email from my system, it's because your email thinks I'm spam (to be fair, I send out blind copy emails to multiple people at a time...so I do look a little spammy!)

Please visit: https://api.elasticemail.com/contact/subscribe?version=2&pID=3add5ef2-a1b3-11e0-a69b-12313b0611f6 so that you can tell the system "hey, I want this email!"

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do! You can download the pattern for free here (please give it a favorite over on Ravelry so that it gets a little Ravelry love!!!):  Ravelry: Karen Chemo Cap pattern by A Little Knitty Designs You can purchase the yarn we used here:  Cumulus by Juniper Moon Farm (alittleknitty.com) Here is the video if you need help with the fan stitch!

Chemo Caps - Part 2

The Gia Chemo Cap doesn't have the same sort of story behind it as the Karen Cap , but it was developed with Chemo patients in mind! Please share this pattern with anyone who would like to knit a hat for someone in need! You can download your pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gia-chemo-cap
