A Little Knitty

This is another that is new-ish to the shop. I actually ordered a bag to test drive it, then put this yarn on the backburner. But with increased demand for easy care DK weight yarn...this one fit the bill!! This easy-care yarn is so soft, you might mistake it for fine wool ! Gentle next to baby's skin, but machine washable and dryable to make it one less thing for parents to worry about. I know....swatching isn't fun when we are SO excited to start knitting. But when we are creating things that we want to fit the body...it's SO important. I think what has helped me, is to create a positive association with swatching. I add a fun podcast/youtube video and some chocolate to the mix...and now I don't dread it quite so much! ;) Here are a couple videos I found that really show the importance and some great tips! Jen
