Hen-a-long

We have so many friends who have been talking about making one of these huggy hens...that we thought it would be fun to put together a group of people knitting them together!!!

 

We will have 3 meetings to create this adorable fowl friend!!

Included:

Huggy Hen Kit (you can pick from a variety of colors) including stuffing
Printed and digital pattern

You provide:
US7 knitting needles 
Your knitting talent

This isn't necessarily a class....but we are happy to help you along in making your fine feathered (or should we say featherless???) friend!
 To register for this knit-a-long you can sign-up in-store or online HERE
You must be registered for the class to attend, if you already own the supplies for the hen, that is fine, but the fee will be the same...so you might as well get the kit and knit multiple poultry pals!!!!

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Chemo Caps - Part 2

The Gia Chemo Cap doesn't have the same sort of story behind it as the Karen Cap , but it was developed with Chemo patients in mind! Copilot Remix

Years ago I found the Copilot Cowl by Dominique Trad on Ravelry  and it had two of my ABSOLUTE favorite things...garter stitch and yarn overs! I cast one on for a trip I was taking and knit it while I was traveling. It was the perfect project to keep my attention, but I didn't need to take the pattern out constantly. After knitting one, I noticed that the length of it was just too long for my liking, I wanted it to be a simple, single-wrap cowl. I reworked it a little bit and it is my go-to when I have a skein of fingering weight yarn (especially if it is a singly-ply!!)
