It feels like all of a sudden etsy is OVERRUN with fake patterns and I swear they are getting harder and harder to spot! Normally I wouldn't get super excited about a warm, fluffy yarn arriving in the heat of summer...but this yarn is much anticipated!!! If you have been waiting for our replacement for Yarn Citizen...it has arrived!!!!!! Saperlipopette is a delicate, fluffy yarn made in France by Fonty, known for its soft and bouncy texture. It's a blend of baby suri alpaca, silk, and merino wool, making it a luxurious and gentle option, especially for those with mohair sensitivities. It's great for creating airy, lightweight garments and accessories. 25g/136 yds  I  65% baby suri alpaca, 20% silk, 15% merino wool  I  0 - lace    To start with, we ordered 6 colors, but we are able to get any color you need...just let us know!   You can purchase these in-store or online HERE

I have been searching Ravelry for some pattern inspiration... I needed a little project to take with me during summer travels (both kids are driving now...so I have ZERO intention of driving at all this summer) An Italian Summer Scarf is a fun knit that I think would be SOOOOOO cool with Cumulus Rainbow. I'm thinking I'll knit half way through the ball then start decreasing so I don't have any leftovers. It will be a great way to show off the long color changes of this yarn. And the pattern is FREE!!! I'm also craving a bag like this... So I think I need to crochet the Summer Days Daisy Bag with Cotton Supreme (which is being restocked TODAY!!!) This would be fun to make the squares on the go and then piece them together while watching a movie or two! Of course if my kids are driving, I might have VERY different gauge for each square!!

Summer season is soon upon us, and I hope you still have plans for your fiber crafts. Summer is a busy season! I don’t know about you, but I knit year-round. Now, I may not want a huge afghan or sweater in my lap during the summer, but there are plenty of smaller, lighter projects we can still work on and keep our hands and brain in the fiber arts game. Here are a few small projects that caught my eye. Eugénie by Soligreen design selling for about $8.50 on Ravelry is a cute, flowing summer top. It is knit up using sport weight yarn and I think United by Queensland would be lovely for this. Socks are an obvious choice for knitting in the summer. These socks would be great for using those mini’s you don’t know what to do with, or leftover scraps you have. Patchwork house socks by autumngeisha are free on Ravelry and look like tons of fun to make. We have mini’s by Rainier Roses in bright happy summer colors that would be tons of fun to use for these socks. I just finished a pair of so...
