Winter 2017 Classes and Workshops



Classes & Descriptions


Knitting 101 - $25

We will learn the knit stitch during this workshop. You will receive knitting needles with the stitches already cast on and we will knit, knit, knit until you feel comfortable...then we will bind off! This is a very condensed version of my 4 week class. During this workshop we will make a coaster....or if you are really flying it might turn into a mug hugger! If you are interested in going on to the bow making class, I can also instruct you on the purl stitch that you will need for that workshop! Included in the class: 1 ball of yarn, Addilino Knitting Needles, In person tutorial


Arm Knitting - $25

We will learn how to arm knit in this fun workshop! You bring the arms, we will bring the rest! You will receive yarn, instruction and a link to a video to view when you get home!


Magic Loop - $35

Have you been interested in knitting small hats, but dislike knitting with double pointed needles? Or hate buying so many different needles for one project? Magic Loop is the thing for you! Join us for a fun workshop that will have you in love with Magic Loop! Workshop includes yarn, knitting needle and pattern!

Knitting help - $15

Bring your latest project in if you having some struggles! Includes assistance and a $10 shop credit!

Finishing Touches - $25

You are comfortable with knitting, but having troubles with the finishing touches like weaving in ends, blocking and fun techniques like the Kitchener stitch! Please bring to class the following:
Using size US7 - 16" circular knitting needles with 42 stitches cast on and 5.5" knit in garter (knit every row) or stockinette stitch (Knit one row, purl the next row and repeat). Don't bind off, we will use this during the class. Class includes instruction and $5 credit to use in the shop.


Love Me Tender Hat Class - $25

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with this adorable knit hat! You will need to bring US7-16” circulars AND Double pointed needles (available for purchase for $35) or US7-32” circulars for magic loop method (available for purchase for $17). We provide the yarns, stitch markers, tapestry needle, pattern and instruction!



Crochet 101 - $25

During this class we will learn to chain, single crochet and double crochet. We will make a coaster, or if you really cruise through the project it can turn into a mug hugger! These are the foundation pieces you will need to do our crochet flower class. Workshop includes: 1 ball of yarn, bamboo crochet hook & in person instruction.

Cable Class - $25

Give cabling a shot with this fisherman inspired washcloth. We will work on the cable stitch so you can tackle any project you might encounter! You bring US7 Knitting Needles….we supply the yarn, pattern and instruction!



Shawl School Part 1 & 2 - $45 for 2 weeks

In this 2 week class we will create a beautiful shawl using one of two patterns and fingering weight yarn! You supply the US5 – 32” needles (or you can purchase them for $17, just leave a note at checkout) and we supply the yarn, patterns and instruction!

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do! Chemo Caps - Part 2

The Gia Chemo Cap doesn't have the same sort of story behind it as the Karen Cap , but it was developed with Chemo patients in mind!
