How I buy yarn


Buying yarn for the shop can be a little stressful (Did I just spend an insane amount of money to buy a collection that no one will think is cool except for me?? Did I buy the right colors??) But it is still one of my favorite parts of my job!!!

My ultimate favorite is going to a show like H&H where I can see all the latest and greatest the fiber industry has to offer. As I walked the show today, I noticed that I'm very drawn to smaller yarn companies because I get to talk to the person that is intimately involved with every portion of the process. This is their passion. This is what keeps them up at night. I'm not just purchasing yarn, I'm purchasing a little piece of them (in a sweet way...not an icky way) How a company treats me, supports their product and makes their product really matters to me!

I look forward to sharing the new items that will be coming into the shop as they trickle in! I will be sure to share why I picked them and try to introduce the people behind the products too!!! 

Lastly, thank you for supporting the shop so that I can go buy more stuff...I really like this relationship we have going on ;)
