It's that time of year...when the shop classroom gets a little chilly. Unfortunately, the cement floors and the wall of glass next to the classroom/sit-n-stitch area keeps it colder than any other part of the shop...plus the fact that you are sitting still.
In order to get it toasty in the classroom, the front of the shop has to be the temperature of the middle of the sun...and that is NO fun for anyone who works here.
Here are some tips...
- Knit some cozy thick socks and wear them with your thickest boots
- Dress in layers, it's Washington after all!
- Grab a sample and wrap up
- Ask around the table and ask who else is cold and start a game of 'Duck, Duck, Goose'
We do have a small heater too! If you need it, just ask!
