Finished Object - Shawlography

I don't think I have EVER been so excited about finishing something! This project was pure persistence and determination!!!

This is the Shawlography which was the Stephen West Knit-a-long that began in October. Here is his for a better pic!

Sure, this isn't a knit I would usually choose...but I'm SOOOOOOOO glad I did it! I learned a lot and it really got my knitting mojo going!! This would be a great way to use up bits of fingering yarn you have laying around (you don't need 5 full skeins!)

I also loved using yarns by Heather Ellis, Rainier Roses, Jadawoo, and one stash yarn (the white...who knows where it came from!!!)

Karen Chemo Cap 5th Anniversary Makeover

I had someone ask me about the Karen Chemo Cap Fan Stitch and I decided the video and pattern were both in need of a make-over! Especially when I noticed this year is the 5th anniversary of publishing this pattern. When my mom had chemo I made her a few different hats because honestly it felt like the only thing I could do. I designed this one just for her, and was super excited when it was her favorite! After she passed I wasn't sure I wanted to release the design, but with a little time...it felt like the right thing to do!
