Hola! Believe it or not I’m coming to you from Montevideo, Uraguay in South America. My husband, youngest son and I are here in South America to visit our oldest son who is currently living in Santiago, Chile. What a thrill to see where he is living, meet his friends and his beautiful girlfriend. So while we are traveling about I’ve had my eyes out for yarn and any fiber type things. We have seen lots of sheep and craft stands and tiny shops with knitted, crocheted and woven items for sale but not so much yarn. This pic shows me in one shop in Chile. My son, who speaks fluent spanish, talked to the owner and he dragged out these 2 huge bags of yarn from their sheep . Not the softest of yarns but interesting colors and of course I bought one to play with and support them. I also bought this beautiful felted wall hanging. It was only $7 and so intricately done.
