This time we will be doing the Flax Sweater which is the perfect first sweater! This 4 session get-together is structured to help you along and answer any questions as they come up, but it is not a class in the sense that everyone is doing the exact same thing at the same time with lecture/presentations. It's a fun social atmosphere, with the first meeting discussing the fit of the sweater. You will need a knit swatch before the first meeting.   Pre-req: Must know how to knit in the round, purl, increase, decrease, cast on and bind off. Happy holidays! Gift giving season is upon us, and if you’re like me, you’ve put off making gifts and now need something quick to make! I’ve found a few cute holiday themed patterns that could save the day. First is Holiday Doodle Cup Cozy by Jamie Lomax . This little pattern sells for $2 on Ravelry, and utilizes her Doodle deck charts to create cute cup cozies for those cozy, warm drinks. She uses DK weight yarn, and these would be perfect for any leftover yarn you may have (maybe you already have made a few gifts and want to use up those leftovers!) I think this is a sweet charm and can be hung on a backpack or a purse, or a doorknob, or the tree. It’s Rudolph Charm by Sari Nordlund and sells for about $5.40 on Ravelry. Fingering weight yarn was used to make this cute ornament. I think using Rainier Roses mini’s would be perfect for this. We are so excited to announce that we now stock EVERY Lantern Moon Interchangable Tip!!! We brought in both 4" and 5" tips and have the cords in stock as well!! Lantern Moon's Interchangeable Needles are made of beautiful Ebony wood and brass connectors with a 24K Gold finish. Combine with one of several options of cord lengths to achieve the overall length you desire for your project! Very useful if you often find yourself using the same needle sizes but need different lengths of circular as you move from one project to the next. This special 4" option is usually chosen when a shorter circular is desired (under 24"), but a 5" IC option is an available too, resulting in a large array of needle & cord combinations.  You can find these in-store and online 4" HERE and 5" HERE

Major is SUPER popular this time of year because you can knit or crochet up something quick...and it's a great yarn to give as a gift!!  Major can only be purchased in-store (it's a bit of a beast to ship, but if you would like us to ship it just send an email and we can get you a quote for shipping!!)

Join us as we knit this fun hat together!! We will discuss tips and tricks for colorwork! You will need to have a bit of knitting time at home between gatherings. You knit at your own pace! There are not make-up sessions if you are unable to make one of our gatherings! Requirements: Must know how to knit and purl. Also, you have knit at least 1 hat. Hola! Believe it or not I’m coming to you from Montevideo, Uraguay in South America.  My husband, youngest son and I are here in South America to visit our oldest son who is currently living in Santiago, Chile. What a thrill to see where he is living, meet his friends and his beautiful girlfriend. So while we are traveling about I’ve had my eyes out for yarn and any fiber type things. We have seen lots of sheep and craft stands and tiny shops with knitted, crocheted and woven items for sale but not so much  yarn. This pic shows me in one shop in Chile. My son, who speaks fluent spanish,  talked to  the owner and he   dragged out these 2 huge bags of yarn from their sheep . Not the softest of yarns  but interesting colors and of course I bought one to play with and support them. I also bought this beautiful felted wall hanging. It was only $7 and so intricately done.
