Kris' Corner - Valentine Memories

Valentine Memories I don’t know about you but my favorite holiday in elementary school, besides Christmas of course, was Valentine’s Day.  I loved decorating my shoebox to receive valentines, I loved picking out valentines for my classmates and I loved all the sugary goodness of cupcakes and candy at the actual school party. Since Valentine’s Day is only a month away I thought I would check out some fun patterns to celebrate St. Valentine. “Valentine Hat” by Kirsten-Michele is a sweet knit hat covered in hearts and geometric motifs.  It is a fun slouchy beanie with an optional pom pom on the top. It is $6 on Ravelry. Ciao or Uptown DK would be a nice choice for yarn. How can you not smile looking at these funny creatures hugging hearts!?  “Valentine Love Hugs” is a crochet pattern by Crochet at Teri’s .  I love their expressions as they cling to their hearts.  This would be a great little present, especially for the teacher to put on her desk! Ricorumi would b...
