New Square Peg Yarn - Tea Series

I am SOOO excited to introduce our latest batch of Square Peg Yarn!! This series was inspired by Apolis Teas...the amazing tea we stock in the yarn shop (sorry, we don't ship these...they are a little too spendy to ship!) Let's introduce the yarns and the tea that inspired them... English Breakfast Tea Origin: House Blend Flavor: jam, grain, brisk A wholly different sort of breakfast tea from our Irish Breakfast. This blend has no Assam but a base of Yunnan instead. It is smooth with a thick jammy flavor and a bright finish with notes of grape skin. Excellent black or with milk. Historically, "English" breakfast teas were predominantly made from Chinese teas which were more expensive than Indian teas. In contrast, "Irish" breakfast teas leaned more toward the malty, inexpensive teas that came out of colonial India. English Breakfast  ( Sock & DK ) Sweet Cream Earl Grey Tea Origin: House Blend Flavor: vanilla, cream, citrus Our blend of organic bl...

Travel projects

We have so many customers coming in and getting projects for travel. I absolutely LOVE knitting while I travel...so I'm so excited for these conversations!!! My #1 go to is the Musselburgh . You can make it one color, 2 color, 3 color or a mish-mash of bits you have leftover from projects. I get the project through the increases while I'm at home, then when I'm on vacation I can just knit round in circles and chat and maybe have a drink or two! This also allows me to knit on the plane AND watch a movie at the same time. And I don't need to balance a pattern on my lap! Another favorite of mine is the Copilot Remix I wrote a few years ago. You can find my remix of the pattern HERE I found lots of knit and crochet projects on Ravelry that I placed in a VACATION BUNDLE ...Check it out HERE
