I have a really good place to find great knitting/crochet patterns! Recently I was looking through patterns on a site and I was astonished that each pattern I looked at was one I wanted to knit. “Wow - there are so many good patterns here” I said to myself. “That one’s good, this one’s good,... oo… here’s another! Wow!! So many!” Then I realized I was looking at my “Favorites” folder.
As foolish as that realization made me feel, it also hit home a point. How often do we actually look at the patterns we “Favorite”? Clearly, I rarely, if ever, do. And there are some great patterns there! Curated especially for you, BY you. So, take a moment and look at that place where you favorite or bookmark patterns. I’m betting you have forgotten many of the patterns that are there!

Choose your own items for an advent calendar that you will open in December, and odds are good you won’t remember what you chose for yourself come winter! (I can’t be the only one whose husband regifts books because I can’t remember that I read it already…)
