The drive was just so beautiful...I couldn't stop taking photos We wanted to see a moose...this will have to do I meant to take my moose hat with me to Denali but I forgot it!!! We also went to the North Pole (Alaska) Got a little knitting in while we waited for our Siberian Husky visit We discussed if this can be made into yarn... The babies were soooooooo cute This little girl was my favorite  And we drove around the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus....because we are entering into that age where we do that! Alaska is absolutely stunning...we loved our little family vacay!

Granny Squares - It's Hip to be SQUARE!!!!

I'm so addicted to making granny squares right now (I'm actually working on a Granny Square Vest that is right out of the 70s...and it makes my heart so happy!!!)  If you want to fall down the Granny Square rabbit hole, be sure to take Teresa's class coming up !  Did you take the beginning crochet class and find you are “hooked” and want more or have learned the basic crochet stitches on your own and are now ready for more? Then this class is for you! We will do a quick review of slip stich, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet. Then we will jump into crocheting in the round, joining new colors, and reading a written pattern and charted pattern. We will be crocheting Granny Squares and exploring options for joining them so that you leave able to put together future squares into pillow tops, afghans, or shawls. Once you have these basic skills, the sky is the limit with hundreds of Granny Square patterns and variations out there. They are a...

Crochet Basket Kits

We recently created a new crochet kit that is good for a crocheter at ANY stage!!! This is a photo of the edge folded down. The yarn does all the color-changing for you!! The kit comes with a wooden bottom that you just crochet around the edge then single crochet until you run out of yarn! How easy peasy is that???  The kits have "Handmade with love" but don't have the A Little Knitty Logo You can find these kits in-store or online HERE

50g of yarn...two ways

And I crochet up the Granny Stitch Triangle Bandana by Salena Baca . It's a paid for pattern on Ravelry, but she hosts the free pattern on her blog!
